Uploading Your Own Market Data

While Spectral Alpha provides preloaded market data, you might prefer to use your own historical data for backtesting and analysis. This is especially useful if you require:

• Guaranteed Completeness: Eliminate concerns about potential gaps or inaccuracies in the preloaded data.
• Specific Data Sources: Use data from sources you trust or that align with your specific needs.
• Higher Data Granularity: Utilize tick data or other high-frequency data for more granular analysis.
• Missing Markets: Cryptos, ETFs etc. that are not found in the historical dataset.

Develop Plan:

This feature is available to users who upgrade to the "Develop" paid plan.

Data Privacy and Ownership:

Rest assured that any data you upload remains strictly private and under your ownership. It is only used to perform the analysis you request and is never shared with other users or used for any other purpose within the platform.

Live data

On the Develop plan you can upload new data at any time using the platform interface.

On the Deploy plan you can connect a data feed such as a broker api, trading terminal, Excel sheet etc.
